I have been living on Vancouver Island for eight years to pursue my career goals. After eight years, countless successes and failures, I left the West Coast of Canada to pursue new goals on the East side of the country, Toronto.
We never know when creativity will strike us next, but when it does, it can change us quickly and in unexpected ways. This is what recently happened to a friend of mine, who went from not doing pottery at all to crafting beautiful pieces and perfecting her art in less than one year.
The Della Falls are majestic falls on Vancouver Island, located in the pristine Strathcona Provincial Park. The Della Falls are considered by most to be the tallest falls in Canada. Indeed, at a whooping 440m, those are the falls with the highest vertical drop. Though this claim is contested by some people.
Very good friends of mine recently got a new puppy, and were due to pick the puppy up in Courtenay, on Vancouver Island. They invited me along in order to photograph and document such an important day in their lives. Needless to say, the day was overwhelmed by cuteness and love. See for yourself.
A good friend of mine and I went on a three-day road trip through the Death Valley. Despite the omnipresence of sand and dust, the valley is far from being the barren land devoid of life that I had imagined. Instead, I discovered a place of incredible beauty, widely diverse landscapes, and jaw-dropping show of natural strength.
The Yosemite is undoubtedly one of the most iconic park, and probably on the bucket list of many. I was no exception. I finally got the opportunity to cross that item off the list in March of 2018, during a road trip through California.
There are only a handful of days in your life that have a tremendous impact on it. Only a handful of days with so much deep meaning that they are remembered for life. Many say the most important day in a person's life will be the wedding. The sentence "I do" is sometimes said to be one of the most meaningful.
